A repositioning of the brand VICE, producing a future product that encapsulates the core brand values. HINT incorporates a food safety testing device subtly into a pen, as part of a range of travel products. The pen gives peace of mind when trying foreign cuisine, encouraging safer exploration of more exotic menus and food outlets. HINT was exhibited as part of Made in Brunel 2015 at OXO Tower, London.
During a year-long project utilising a double diamond design strategy a bracelet indicating when to reapply sun cream was developed. A colour change induced in the polymer due to photochromic pigment reacting to UV light exposure indicates reapplication is due. The surface of the bracelet has been designed for optimum exposure to UV light when on a wrist. The aesthetic of the bracelet has been designed to hide its function; a desirable, stylish accessory that people want to wear. Ombra was exhibited as part of Made in Brunel 2015 at OXO Tower, London.

A CNC machined plywood chair comprising of two sides, a base and thirty slats. Wood was varnished and a pop of lime green applied to the interior for aesthetic punch. The green highlights the interaction between slats, light and shadow. The chair has been designed as a comfortable statement piece for indoor or outdoor living spaces. SLAT was exhibited at LUX in San Francisco.
A cross-platform fitness website, app and interface for a wearable. Branding and infographics were developed to be simple and clear for the user. The TREAD interface was designed to enable digestion of information quickly and easily.
Designed for the LUX exhibition in San Francisco this sculpturally inspired fixture incorporates laser cutting, 3D printing and CNC machining. The design creates an interesting aesthetic which hides the unappealing bulb.

A variety of materials have been manipulated in order to create a portfolio of sculptures. Abstract briefs have inspired creative freedom and thinking to produce interesting and unusual forms. Utilising sculptural forms and translating aspects of them into functional, desirable products is a method in my design process.
